Steve Brown	Steve created the “Meet the Brown’s of Comedy” tour in 2008 as an ingenuous idea to tour headlining comedians with the last name “Brown”. The response was phenomenal with sold out shows in Mississippi, Michigan and Alabama. The “Meet the Browns of Comedy” tour brings together an entertainingly diverse group of comedians that will bring audiences to their knees with tireless laughter.
Cocoa Brown	Steve Brown chose six nationally renowned comedians with years of experience and the proven careers to back it up. He met up with comedienne Cocoa Brown who hails from Newport News, Virginia. Cocoa brings her animated facial expressions and body gestures to the comedy tour to deliver an honest and humorous show. Her motto is: “I don’t tell jokes, I tell the truth!” and that’s exactly what she brings to the tour. She is a rising star and has surpassed most comedians with extensive experience in the entertainment industry with performances at the Kennedy Center to honor Richard Pryor, tapped for the Def Comedy Jam tour and won the DC Comedian of the Year Award. She acquired nine consecutive seasons on BET’s Comic View, twice voted “Funniest Female” and reigning champion on the Comedy TKO on Showtime at the Apollo. Her film credits include “Lakeview Terrace” with Samuel L. Jackson, “American Carol” with Kelsey Grammar, “Hittin’ the Bricks” with Dr. Dre, “ Blue Moon”, “Robbin’ in da Hood” and “Mahogany Blues”.
Benji Brown	The “Meet the Brown’s of Comedy” also includes comedians Benji Brown, Willie Brown & Woody. Benji Brown brings audiences his favorite character “KEKE”. Benji specialty brings stand-up comedy and sketch comedy to a new level of laughing satisfaction. He has worked with headlining comedians Sommore, Tommy Davidson, Mike Epps and Finesse Mitchell. He co-starred in the Lions Gate Entertainment feature film “Miami Tail” with rap artist Trina, Queens of Comedy and Sommore.
Willy Brown & Woody	Willie Brown and is buddy Woody are the perfect tag team duo in the comedic ventriloquist genre. See it live and they will not disappoint your expectations. Willie is a proven entertainer that transcends comedy with his unique talent. He has appeared on BET’s Comic View, Def Comedy Jam, Loco Comedy Jam, Phaturdays, the Jenny Jones Show, with reoccurring roles in the Showtime Network series “Barbershop”. Reigning from New Haven, Connecticut he became interested in ventriloquism and mixed it with stand-up comedy. He began crafting his skill by performing in comedy clubs in the Washington D.C area, with performances at the Comedy Connection of Greenbelt, Garvin’s, The Comedy Café and The Improv. He eventually came to work beside Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes and Chris Thomas. Ardent actor, he has appeared in the movie “Tears of a Clown” with Don D.C. Curry and appeared in “All About You” with Lisa Raye, Debbie Allen and Rockmond Dunbar and creatively wrote and produced his own film “Footcops.”
Pat Brown	Pat Brown, Spanky Brown and Doo Doo Brown complete the line-up on the “Meet the Brown’s of Comedy” tour. Pat Brown’s comedic style has a jazzy silliness with added energy and quick witted punches. Her style has propelled her to work as a veteran improvisational actor with the “Laughing Matters Imporv Troupe” and the “Blacktop Circus”. Her talents didn’t stop there; she later began writing for “Black Entertainment Television”, comedians Ricky Smiley, Sommore and countless others. Pat recently was a finalist on the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and the Girls Behaving Badly Comedy search. She has worked with comedian Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Ron White and Jeff Dunham.
Spany Brown	Spanky Brown adds his personal experiences of trial, tragedies and triumphs to elevate audiences to a new level of comedy. His career took off in 1997 at amateur night at The Comedy House Theater in Savannah, Georgia. He toured the world entertaining audiences of different nationalities and brought newfound comedy back to the U.S. He delivers smooth and laid-back comedy that is almost conversational. Just like any rising star Spanky became a regular on BET’s Comic View, former contributing writer for The Tom Joyner Morning Show, featured on The Speed Network and was the former host for “Barbershop Critics’ on The Black Family Channel.
Doo Doo Brown	Wrapping up the line-up in the tour is Doo Doo Brown. Doo Doo is the “King of the Underground” with the gold teeth to prove it. He hails from Jacksonville, Florida by way of Atlanta, Georgia bringing seventeen years of comedic brilliance. He brings “in your face” comedy that reminds you of the “thug-life” and the “thug-passion” of the hood. But don’t get it twisted, this brother is exceptional and the “King of the Underground” for a reason. Simply stated, see it live and you won’t regret it.
